Conquering International Standards, AnPro Spearheads Interior Material Industry Trends

From the United States to Europe, indoor air quality standards are rapidly becoming the new benchmark for the interior material industry.

According to the World Green Building Council, humans currently spend up to 90% of their time in enclosed spaces, such as residences, offices, and commercial centers. Meanwhile, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reports that indoor concentrations of certain pollutants can be 2 to 5 times—and occasionally more than 100 times—higher than outdoor levels.

These findings are shifting how developers, architects, and consumers select interior materials. While durability and aesthetics were once the primary criteria, health safety and environmental impact have now become indispensable factors in modern living spaces.

This is precisely the strategic direction of AnPro—an interior material brand under An Cuong Building Materials, a subsidiary of An Phat Holdings, a pioneer in the high-tech, eco-friendly plastics sector in Southeast Asia.

Conquering International Standards

AnPro’s material portfolios are free from formaldehyde, benzene, and heavy metals that could compromise the living environment. These hazardous substances are strictly regulated in markets like the US, Europe, and Singapore, where indoor air quality is under increasing scrutiny.

AnPro has systematically aligned its product standard matrix with global benchmarks. Multiple product lines—including SPC click flooring, LVT glue-down flooring, and interior wall panels—have achieved prestigious certifications such as FloorScore, CE Marking, REACH, and RoHS. Among these, FloorScore is a highly respected US certification regarding indoor air quality; CE Marking is a mandatory requirement for products circulating within the European Economic Area; REACH and RoHS strictly control chemical substances that pose potential risks to human health and the environment.

Moreover, AnPro products have passed rigorous testing under ASTM standards (certified by SGS) for fire resistance, abrasion resistance, slip resistance, load-bearing capacity, impact resistance, thermal stability, and acoustic insulation.

Beyond global accolades, AnPro undergoes stringent verification by the Vietnam Institute for Building Materials (VIBM). Specifically, AnPro flooring lines outstandingly achieved an AC4 rating for abrasion resistance, while AnPro wall panel lines fully comply with standards regarding flame spread, smoke development, and user safety.

Capitalizing on Trendsetting Capabilities

If certifications like FloorScore, REACH, CE Marking, or RoHS serve as “passports” to enter demanding global markets, the engine behind those credentials is a robust manufacturing and quality control capacity capable of sustaining these standards long-term.

AnPro established this foundation early on. The enterprise currently operates two manufacturing plants in Hai Phong spanning a total area of approximately 50,000 square meters, with an annual capacity of 12.5 million square meters—roughly 80% of which is dedicated to export. In addition to supplying the domestic market, AnPro’s manufacturing ecosystem is optimized for OEM/ODM contracts from international clients across the US, Canada, Australia, and various European nations.

To meet the escalating demands for quality and sustainability, the company invests simultaneously in production lines, quality control systems, and Research and Development. The facilities are equipped with a wide range of specialized equipment, such as extrusion lines, UV coating machines, click-lock profiling machines, automated robots, and dust collection systems, along with various modern manufacturing technologies to ensure product consistency at a large scale

AnPro also possesses a dedicated R&D team capable of developing new products, analyzing material trends, and deploying OEM/ODM projects for global clients. Supporting these efforts is a laboratory system equipped with Taber abrasion testers and facilities for adhesion, scratch resistance, indentation, moisture, and various other performance tests. Each product must undergo a strict evaluation process before being introduced to the market.

This robust manufacturing, research, and quality control capability forms the bedrock for AnPro to simultaneously meet multiple international environmental, health, and product safety standards. In an era where green buildings, ESG, and low-emission materials emerge as dominant global trends, this advantage empowers the business to proactively adapt to the interior industry’s evolving demands, rather than simply chasing established standards.
