Preparation for AnPro SPC Flooring installation

The sub-floor is the key to properly installing AnPro SPC floor for high durability. AnPro guideline you 5 steps to prepare the substrate well before installing the floor.

Clean

The sub-floor of the AnPro SPC floors must be clean, not rough and dirty. If the room is carpeted, remove the old carpet and the cushioning to expose the foundation. Carpets are not accepted for AnPro floors. If the room has wooden or tiled floors in good condition, you can install the AnPro floor right on it. Be sure to sweep or vacuum thoroughly before installation.

No defect

If your existing floor is an old wooden floor, should not have any defects such as loose plank, nails, and noise due to improper installation of plywood joints. Any loose nails must be removed or fixed.

Flatness

Use a laser gauge or ruler to check the flat. All high points must be sanded or ground. Filling in all low spots, cracks, and dents.

Solid structure

The subs floor must be able to bear the normally expected load without dents or inclination. If your floor is rotted or displaced, you should replace or repair the substrate before mounting any of the floors on top of it.

Dry

New concrete must be tested for moisture content to ensure that the concrete is completely dry.

AnPro SPC floor has include IXPE / EVA underlayment for quick installation, so there is no need to spread extra padding between concrete, brick.
